How the free tier uses data

Tenet’s free tier is subsidized by allowing us to learn from anonymized safety signals generated through platform usage: jailbreak attempts, prompt-injection patterns, PII-leakage examples, and over-disclosure edge cases. These signals help improve future detection systems. This is guardrail improvement, the way a security product improves threat detection, not training a chat assistant on your content.

What we store

The redacted request (post PII/De-ID) plus the verdict, never the raw request.
Labeling metadata (surface, verdict, latency, a salted account hash).

Your choices

Sensitive data should not be submitted on the free tier.
The Pro plan ($299/mo) excludes your requests and responses from these workflows by default, the opt-out tier.
Enterprise offers zero-retention and no-training options.
